Privacy Policy

Last updated: · Effective:

This Privacy Policy explains how Fox Works Inc. ("we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you use GogoScreen (the "Service"): our website at https://gogoscreen.com, our web app, our API and our MCP server. It should be read with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

Fox Works Inc. is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions and requests go to support@gogoscreen.com.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your name and email address, whether your email is verified, and, if you sign in with Google, the identifier and profile details Google shares with our sign in provider. Passwords are handled by our sign in provider; we do not store them.

Billing information. Your plan, purchases, invoices and video time balance. Our payment processor, Stripe, collects your card details, billing address and any tax number you enter. We receive limited card details from Stripe, such as the card type, its last four digits and the country that issued it. We never receive your full card number.

What you ask the Service to make. The website or app addresses you give us, your instructions, the plans and scripts made from them, screenshots and recordings of the pages the Service visits, narration, captions and the finished videos. Screenshots and recordings can show whatever is on those pages, including information about other people. Brand logos, files and settings you upload are also kept with your account.

Sign in details for your site. If you give us a username and password so the Service can sign in to your site, we use them only to sign in for the videos you ask for. We keep them encrypted, only temporarily, and separate from your account records, and delete them once that work no longer needs them:

  • when you make a video in one step, they are used once and deleted as that video starts, or after 30 minutes if it never starts;
  • when you plan a video first and then make it, they are kept for the plan and the video, and deleted when the video is made successfully, when you cancel the plan, or 2 hours after they were last used, whichever comes first. If the video fails, they are kept for a retry until those 2 hours pass.

Once the Service is signed in, the screenshots and recordings it takes show whatever that account can see, and are handled like the other content above.

Support messages. What you send through our contact and support forms, the in app support assistant, or by email, together with your name and email address.

Technical and security information. Your IP address and, from it, your approximate country and network provider, and security signals about your connection, such as whether it comes through a VPN or proxy. We also keep records of sign ins, security events, errors and API use.

Usage information. The pages of our website you visit and how you interact with them, such as the buttons you click, together with your browser and device type and your general location estimated from your IP address. Our analytics providers collect this for us only if you agree to analytics cookies.

Device identifier. To help prevent fraud, such as one person opening many accounts, our app works out a coded identifier from technical details of your browser and device (for example browser type, operating system, screen size, time zone and language). When you create an account or sign in, the app sends us that identifier with your browser type, platform, screen resolution and a reliability score. We store these with your account and use them only for fraud prevention, never for advertising or to follow you on other websites.

2. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • create and run your account and sign you in;
  • make the videos you ask for, and keep your projects and videos available to you;
  • process payments, add and track your video time, and issue invoices;
  • answer support requests, including through the support assistant;
  • send you service emails, such as receipts, video ready notices, billing and security notices, and messages about your account;
  • prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents, including checking payments and limiting repeat sign ups for free time;
  • find and fix problems with the Service;
  • understand how our website is used, if you agree to analytics cookies; and
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who processes it for us

We use the following kinds of service providers. Each receives only what it needs for its role. They handle it under their own terms and privacy policies, which can allow them to keep some information for their own purposes, such as preventing abuse or meeting legal obligations. You can ask us for the names of our current service providers at support@gogoscreen.com.

  • AI providers: providers of AI models. They receive the screenshots and page text collected from the pages the Service visits, your instructions and site address, and support assistant messages, so they can plan the walkthrough, write narration, check the result and answer support questions.
  • Voice providers: providers that generate the narration voices. They receive the narration text to turn it into speech.
  • Payments: Stripe, for payments, tax calculation, invoices and billing management.
  • Sign in: our sign in provider, which handles signing in to your account.
  • Email: our email delivery provider, which delivers the emails we send.
  • Hosting and storage: cloud providers that run our servers and databases, host our website and app, and store files such as screenshots, recordings and videos.
  • Bot checks: Cloudflare, which runs bot checks on some forms, as our Cookie Policy describes.
  • IP intelligence: an IP intelligence provider, which receives IP addresses to tell us the country, network provider and security signals about the connection, such as whether it comes through a VPN or proxy.
  • Error and performance monitoring: an error monitoring provider, which receives error reports and data about how quickly our pages and servers respond. We remove personal information such as email addresses from these reports where we can.
  • Website analytics, only if you agree: analytics providers. They receive information about your visits to our website, such as the pages you view, the buttons you click, your browser and device, and your IP address, which they use to estimate your general location. Our Cookie Policy names these providers.

We may also share personal information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or security of our customers, the public or ourselves, or as part of a sale, merger or financing of our business, in which case the recipient must protect it as this policy describes.

If you connect your own tools, for example through webhooks or our API or MCP server, we send information to the destinations you choose.

4. Where it is processed

We are based in Canada. Our service providers, including the analytics providers described above, may store and process personal information in the United States and other countries outside Canada. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Most deletion is done by scheduled cleanups that run automatically, so an item can remain for a short time after the period below ends. We can keep information longer where the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or investigate fraud or abuse. The main periods are:

  • Account information, including the IP and device information stored with your account, is kept while your account exists.
  • Screenshots of a video plan are removed about 7 days after the plan is made.
  • Recordings and working files are removed about 30 days after they are made, unless a project still uses them. The video's page in the app warns you about 7 days before its recording is removed. Exported files of marketing videos are removed about 30 days after export.
  • Finished videos stay in your account until your account is deleted.
  • Support assistant conversations are removed about 30 days after their last message.
  • Support requests kept in our service are removed about 160 days after we receive them, once our system has finished its attempts to forward them to our support inbox. This does not depend on whether we have replied. Copies in our support email inbox are kept separately and deleted when we no longer need them for support. Our email provider keeps its own records of the messages it delivers, under its own policies.
  • Security records are kept for up to about 400 days, and records of suspected fraud or payment disputes for as long as the related account exists. Error records are kept for about 90 days, and records of emails we sent for about 180 days.
  • API usage records are kept for about 90 days and webhook delivery records for about 30 days.
  • Usage information from analytics, if you agreed to it, is kept by our analytics providers for the periods our Cookie Policy gives for each of them. Reports that sum up many visits and do not identify you can be kept longer.

When you delete your account, there is a 30 day waiting period in which you can cancel the request. After that, our systems delete your account, your projects, videos, uploads and remaining video time, and ask Stripe and our sign in provider to delete your records with them. This runs automatically and can take longer if a step has to be retried. We keep a few things we still need:

  • payment and invoice records, with personal details removed, for tax and accounting;
  • security records, with your email, IP address, phone number and card details removed; and
  • a coded form of your email address, which is not stored as readable text but can be matched if the same address is used to sign up again, so that we can stop deleted accounts being reopened to collect free video time again. We keep it after your account is deleted, and use it only for that.

Deleted information can remain in our backups for a limited time until those backups are replaced. Stripe keeps its own records of payments as the law requires it to.

6. How we protect it

We use safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections, encryption of the sign in details you give us for your site, API keys stored in a form that cannot be read back, video download links that stop working after 5 minutes, access limited to the people and systems that need it, and fraud and bot checks. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach of our safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • update your name, and change your password if you sign in with one, on the Profile page of your account;
  • delete your account from the Account menu of the app, under Delete account;
  • ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it;
  • ask us to delete the analytics data collected about you (if we cannot link analytics data to you, we cannot delete it individually, and it is deleted automatically at the end of its retention period);
  • withdraw consent to optional uses, such as website analytics, subject to legal and contractual limits (some information is needed to provide the Service at all); and
  • ask questions or make a complaint about how we handle your information.

Send requests to support@gogoscreen.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we reply within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that the website and app need to work, and the device identifier described above. On our website only, and only if you agree, we also use analytics cookies from our analytics providers. We do not use advertising cookies. Our Cookie Policy names those providers and has the details, including how to change your choice.

9. Children

The Service is not meant for children, and accounts are for adults only (see our Terms of Service). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy last changed.
